Delete your Yukiboo account

How to delete your account and data, what we remove, and what we have to keep.

This page explains how to delete your Yukiboo account and the data linked to it. Yukiboo is developed by Wabomo.

Delete in the game

  1. Open Yukiboo and tap Settings.
  2. Open Account and tap Delete account.
  3. Type DELETE to confirm.

Your account is then scheduled for deletion. You have 30 days to change your mind and cancel from the same screen. After 30 days the account and its data are deleted as described below.

Ask us by email

If you no longer have the game installed, or cannot open it, email privacy@wabomo.com with the subject "Delete my Yukiboo account" and include:

  • your display name and your friend code (from the Friends screen), or
  • a Google Play or Apple order number for a purchase you made in Yukiboo.

We may ask a question to check that the account is yours. We then delete it within 30 days and confirm by email.

Parents and guardians: Yukiboo is not directed at children under 13. If your child has an account, use either method above and we will delete it.

What is deleted

  • Your account and sign-in (Firebase Authentication).
  • Your game progress, currencies, cards, trophies, items and settings.
  • Your public profile card, display name, friend code and friend list.
  • Your entries in other players' friend, recent racer and invite lists.
  • Your ghost replays (recordings of your races shown to other players).
  • Linked sign-ins (Google, Apple or Google Play Games), pending link requests and link history.
  • Invite reward records and records of moving old progress into your account.
  • Your notification token and notification settings.
  • Your rows on the current and recent season leaderboards.

Data stored only on your phone (share clips, local feedback, local logs) is removed when you uninstall the game.

Pip Club: deleting your account does not cancel a Pip Club subscription. Cancel it first in Google Play (Payments and subscriptions > Subscriptions) or in your Apple ID settings (Subscriptions), or the store will keep charging you.

What is kept, and for how long

A few records have to stay after your account is deleted. Other players cannot see them, and we use them only for the reasons below.

Purchase records
The product, date, store country and a scrambled purchase token, including Pip Club renewals. Kept as long as tax and accounting law requires, to handle refunds and disputes.
Fair-play and safety records
Anti-cheat reviews and reports made by or about you. Kept for 12 months after deletion to protect other players, then deleted.
Invite abuse check
A scrambled device value, kept for 12 months after deletion so invite rewards cannot be claimed twice, then deleted.
Race tickets and race paths
Expire automatically after 30 days.
A deletion record
A scrambled (hashed) id and the date of deletion, kept for 3 years to prove the deletion took place.
Analytics and crash data
Not linked to your name or account. Event-level analytics data is deleted by Firebase after at most 14 months, crash reports after 90 days.

Delete some data without deleting your account

You can change your display name, turn off analytics in Settings > Privacy, and turn off notifications in Settings > Notifications. To ask us to delete specific data, email privacy@wabomo.com.
